Fetal Baby at 13-14 Weeks

Week 13: Baby's taste buds develop between 11 and 13 weeks. Baby's gender can be determined by ultrasound now between 13-14 weeks. Baby sucks, swallows, smiles and frowns.

Week 14: The baby is now about 2 inches long. His fingers and toes have separated and he has begun swallowing and kicking. The basic structures of all his organs are in place and beginning to function.
