Who We Are

Mission

Embracing Options is a community outreach of His Branches, Inc. whose mission is to eliminate the need for abortion by providing support for persons in past and present pregnancies, sharing the Gospel of salvation through Jesus Christ, and promoting a culture of life through education about the sanctity of human life, abstinence, and a moral approach to sexuality.

Need Over 50% of Embracing Options clients are less than 18 years old and most are walk in clients from our neighborhood. Over 70% of these women come to Embracing Options from seeing the brightly colored sign in front of our center; the majority of the balance come to know EO from word of mouth. We believe that the City of Rochester needs many centers surrounding the city to serve clients from their local areas. Our first satellite center is in Webster; we've helped develop another center in the Bay-Goodman area which currently has the highest abortion rate in Rochester; and we're currently coming alongside another group that's establishing a site in Greece.

We've also discovered that our city has alarmingly high rates of sexually transmitted diseases (STDs). We're concerned about the spread of life-threatening illnesses like these and so are many of our clients. In response, we've developed an STD screening and counseling program at our Arnett site that is recruiting counselor-trainees.
